According to the documentation, this program is designed to facilitate the installation of local WES cases from data previously archived by the Kirkwood Archiver package. The program will extract the gzipped files either from a hard disk, cdrom, or DVD, and place them in the /data/awips directory for use with WES. You can find the software and support documentation on the SOO/STRC ftp server in the wes directory. Any problems should either be sent to me or the soo_wes mail list.
