Option 1 worked for me at HPC, I have yet to investigate options 2, 3, and 4. 1. AWIPS Radar images are in a native format that GEMPAK (and NAWIPS) can ingest directly (courtesy Paul Jendrowski) 2. Use a Unidata viewer (courtesy Tom Hultquist) "Unidata's Integrated Data Viewer (IDV) should do it. You can find it at http://my.unidata.ucar.edu/content/software/IDV/index.html I've used it some to view Archive III data, and it says it will view netCDF. It is in Java and will install on Windows (and Linux I believe)." 3. Configure your WES as if at WFO GUA (courtesy Pat Welsh) "The WES works fine...should have a Guam localization @ COMET STRC page. You can use either screen capture for .PNG (GIF) or the print window to save in postscript." 4. Visit the following web site for a utility to convert NetCDF to gif http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/netcdf/software.html (courtesy Jeff Cupo) Pete
