[wrfems] Help Needed for Mercator Projection

Hi all,

I'm trying to get the WRF grib2 files to display at the KEY office but
having problems.  The grib2 file is being ingested and products are being
stored, but the display on D2D is skewed.  The graphic that comes up is not
a large square box but rather a thin rectangle that has been rotated by 90
degrees (see image).

One thing different about the way the grib2 files are generated is that the
projection is Mercator (rather than Lambert Conformal).  The only place I
can find to be sure Mercator is used is in the makeDataSups.patch.  Here is
my entry:

maksuparg 9 23.740 0.000 23.740 WSWRFD01.sup l 19.215 -87.487 28.113 -74.133
