IMPORTANT: Users will need to download and install a new wrf_update.pl routine prior updating the WRF EMS. The new wrf_updat.pl script fixes a few bugs encountered since the initial release and will allow for the installation of the correct executable data set (x32, x64, PIII, AMD Athlon) on your system. Please follow the installation instructions provided.

The WRF EMS includes a routine to easily update your system as updates and patches become available. Below you will find a list of current updates for the SOO/STRC WRF EMS. If you have assess to the SOO/STRC ftp server then updates may be installed by running the wrf_update.pl script:

% wrf_update.pl --update --install

either mannually or via cron. If you don't have access to the SOO/STRC ftp server then you can download the updates from the list below, place then in the directory identified in the wrf/data/conf/config/wrf_update/wrf_update.conf file (default: wrf/updates, create if necessary) and then run:

% wrf_update.pl --install

And the updates will be installed.

It is not recommended that you pick and choose individual updates. Just get all the updates necessary to bring your system up to date, The wrf_update.pl script will figure out if you have already installed a file.
